Computers in classrooms provide for essential technology literacy skills that are required for students living now and in the future. Technological literacy has become one of the new basics and a fundamental part of everyone's education. In a modern technological society 'technological competency' is as important as literacy or numeracy. It is now a basic skill and must be recognised as such.
Computers are located in each classroom K-6. Each class is allocated a specific time for utilising the facilities of the computer laboratories. The students also have the opportunity to develop technology skills using digital cameras, digital recorders, email, and digital storytelling.
All classrooms have interactive white boards and access to iPads to embed technology into all learning areas.
Stage 3 students participate in our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program to enhance their connect learning.
